Today is a good day to switch to VIM as your default code editor. You will fall in love with it or maybe it will be your new tool to work with on a server. Let’s get started.
I’m using macOS, so most of my tutorials will be written for Mac. I’ll also write for Windows/Linux if I can. It’s good to open a terminal window like so.
Great, now you have your terminal open. Let’s type
vim end press enters key to open your first vim session (or maybe you opened it a few times).
That’s it. You now get into the vim world. Let type something you want and we will continue to start navigate and learn how to actually open/close files.
